New Owner from Oklahoma - Brilliant White E90 Sedan
Just stopping in to say high and to share my experience in purchasing my new to me E90 M3. The car may look familiar to some of you because it was for sale in the classifieds here about a month ago. I actually ended up purchasing the car from CarMax for what I feel is a great deal considering the mileage, options, and condition. The car was extensively modified by the two previous owners and converted back to stock by deansbimmer. I was hesitant at first due to the previous modifications but that went away after talking to deansbimmer and getting an inspection performed at Edmond Motorwerks who gave her a clean bill of health minus a few things I already had scheduled for CarMax to fix.
Specs: 2009 Individual Brilliant White E90 with Challenge USA carbon fiber roof Premium package, cold weather package, comfort access Mileage: 45k Price: 25998 Added Maxcare to 100k miles for 3800 with $100 deductible. Plans are to modify the exhaust and just drive the car for a while as is. I honestly was leaning towards a w204 C63 AMG but I am extremely satisfied with the M and look forward to many more months of excitement. The car is back at CarMax now getting some work done to it so I do not have many high quality pics other than the original for sale pictures. I'll be sure to grab some good photos when I get her back. |

Thanks everyone. Looking forward to getting the car back today/tomorrow from Carmax. The items they fixed are:
-Headlight had condensation and a bulb out so they decided to replace the whole unit -New trunk and hood lifter pumps -Offered to replace all 4 tires with new (generic) tires because the tires are not the stock size. I declined the offer because the car has like new Pilot AS/3's (255's on the front I believe and 275's on the rear). I am pretty satisfied with their service but it doesn't come to much surprise since I worked at this actual Carmax about 7 years or so ago. Prices are not always the best but their willingness to offer a pretty good extended warranty to "high" repair cost vehicles is one of their best pluses. |

I love this car/color, especially now that it’s back closer to stock. There’s several threads on this forum from the previous owners, as well as a YouTube video of the original owner taking delivery. The car originally had Fox Red interior but that was parted out and sold years back.
Enjoy the car, it’s 1 of 1 in that color, and great price |

Wow!!! I was curious so I looked up the For Sale thread for this car from last summer. Holy crap did that thing have some money put into it! Sounds like the PO parted most of it out. OP...Does it still have the built low compression motor for SC and was that super custom interior put back to stock as well?

Brilliant White Metallic was a BMW Individual color, and if you search for the thread with production stats, you’ll see this is a 1 of 1 car for NA E90 M3 production (6 E92s). It does look very similar to Mineral White. But many prefer the rarity of these individual colors, especially in this case being it’s the only one in existence (at least in NA) and maybe because Mineral White was never offered on the E90 Edit - here’s the production stats, there were 774 Mineral White E92s built. https://www.m3post.com/forums/attach...5&d=1376330183 Last edited by jiggz; 02-20-2019 at 02:52 PM.. |
