Anyone use Endless CC40(ME20)?

Thinking of changing to these pads as I faded my MX72 on Okayama this weekend. I have a few questions for those that use(d) them.

1. How is the braking force compared to equivalents of MX72 (or stock)?

2. How well do they hold up on stock brakes?

3. Brake balance when using them with MX72 on the rear? (I will probably ask Endless Japan about this)

I don't have experience with that specific setup, but in general, I prefer to run the same compound front and rear -- assuming you can get enough heat into the rears. You may want to look at using some of the thermographic paint and/or caliper temperature stickers to see if you can benefit from the ME20 in the back or if you're keeping the 72s in their sweet spot.

I used the ME20's all around on my stock system and thought they were great. A bit noisy on the street though driving to and from the track. I have a used set with lots of pad left I'd sell if your interested. I've gone to a bbk and can't use them. PM me if interested.

Try Project Mu HC+. They are better than MX72, kind to rotors, and very little (if any) noise. I daily it and do 3-4 trackdays a year. Works well.

PMU HC+ felt good and didn't fade with my BBK, however they wore very fast. Lasted 2 track days - one of them being Laguna Seca which is hard on brakes. Currently using PMU 999 which lasts longer.

FWIW I don't see a reason to pay the premium for importing these pads to the US, which of course ignores the difficulty in obtaining them. OP is in Japan so probably much easier, but in the US there are tons of good choices like PFC and Pagid.

Exactly. And price is very reasonable at $~200 per set.

+1 for HC+. It's a good track pad up through intermediate level - does squeal a bit though.

I switched from HC+ to HC-CS. They make less noise than HC+ and last longer. The trade off is they don't have the big initial bite of the HC+. But less squealing and more endurance on track works better for me so HC-CS is perfect for my application.

I ran MX72 on the M3 once.. never again for track. They melted and warped a set of rotors. I considered the ME ones and the MX72 Plus but Endless pads are so overpriced for what you get. That said, I run MX72s on my daily commuter car haha

Fwiw HC+ don't squeal much on my Brembo GT. Maybe once in a blue moon under very light braking.

Can confirm PMU HC+ do not squeal much, if at all. PMU 999 don't squeal a ton but they do squeal.

I ran ME20 and MX72 on rears but on BBKs. The brake force is much better than MX72 all around and initial bite is stronger too

How are they on rotors? I don’t want to swap them out every 2-3 track days if possible..lol

I had try using ME22 in front (w/ Endless 6 Pot brake kit) and MX72 is rear (w/ stock rear caliper). No issue in brake balance concern.

The braking force is higher if compare to MX72 in front..... I also went with the Me22 on street for around 3 months. Little squeal but acceptable to me.

I cant say for stock rotors but I went thru 7 track weekends with them and I still have 30% pad left that am driving on the street with now. My 380mm PFC rotors still have enough for another 10 weekends from the looks of it

I believe this is something that happens with stock floating calipers. I ran HC+ on the Brembos on my previous car and it did not make noise.

On the M3 stock floating calipers, it is noisy in street driving. I need to swap it out for less aggressive pads for street driving.

Bunch of use N05u and we are moving up to N05s for more initial bite.

I ran ME20 on my M4 and they were fantastic in terms of feel and performance. I obliterated a set of Project Mu HC+ pads in one day, so that was the end of that experiment.

Do you have any experience with Endless CC-RG?

I've put them in the rear before but never up front.

Can confirm. Blew through HC+ at Laguna Seca and got towed out last year. Was silly and didn't bring extra pads. Was using backing plates as my pads. This was even with a 380mm/355mm BBK F&R.

PMU 999 have lasted longer for me - but I just realized I posted the same story in this thread, back in January

Will you consider going PMU 777 next time? They seem to last longer than 999 but I've never used them.
