**Question about driving from Calgary to Vancouver**

So I am planning to make a trip from Calgary to Vancouver in mid September, and come back to Calgary early October.

Wondering that has anyone done this kind of driving during that period before?

How is the road condition during that period of time?

Should I bring my winter tires with me just in case?

Should be okay through the passes at that time of the year but it's completely weather dependent. If there is a freak system that comes thru it may get dicey.

Best thing would be to check all weather reports and road reports for two weeks leading up to the trip.

mid sep shouldnt be any problem
early october can be 50/50
