Got pulled over

So, I just want to say to everyone here that hasn't been pulled over before. DONT. My first experience was pig I mean officer Martinez of the SJPD. Can't believe it, but I got a ticket for my exhaust being too loud even though he tailed me in 4th gear at 1600rpm's. Got 2 Fix-it tickets for exhaust and air intake. After an hour or so he left me off. Read my next post in the O/T about the full story.

lol, it is not as bad as mine. Got pulled over three weeks ago, and all he asked was "is your car lowered?" Seriously, is that even your freaking business?

My first ticket was an exhaust ticket when I was 17. I came home and told my parents I got a ticket. They flipped out and I started dying laughing... they laughed too when they realized that the police actually pull people over on friday nights to give them $85 dollar exhaust tickets.

Btw does anyone know what the hell a "baffle" is? The cop said to get a baffle for my exhaust, but it's not even loud. DB reading is under 100 at WOT

I think I got a ticket from a certain Martinez in the bay area too, in a 350z that time. Then again its Mexifornia, he should be stopping those no insurance than us.

Maybe he was referring to a resonator or muffler

i got a ticket for my 50% tints in the front!!! fuck its barely illegal and the asshole cop even told me "youre lucky you didnt get a ticket for not having reflectors" urgh... i had to strip my tint in the end because if i didnt, the 2nd offence is a larger fine. fuck.

State of California as well as all its cities, need money

I would think that if the db level of your exhaust is within legal limits, then
you can beat this sucker. But why did you get a ticket for the air intake?

God damn! Man I love AZ. I run illegal tint, LOUD exhaust, and no mudflaps on my truck (have to have flaps on lifted trucks in AZ) and they just give me warnings maybe once a year. I can't beleive they fine you money for tint anywhere! Here they just give you a repair order that doesn't cost anything. Man I don't miss living at Camp Pendleton, CA FTMFL!
