Hello, my name is Lustik's, I'm from Spain. I have a small problem with my M3 e92.resulta. Sometimes, when I start the car, I see the DSC error message with the energy loss message. The rpm is reduced to 4000 rpm. Turn off the car again and it will be eliminated, everything seems to be going well, it turns out that we entered into the diagnosis and it gives us an error of administration of the 5E19 engine. We erase the fault and the same 2 or 3 days later. Bmw tells me to change the original battery (which does not carry it) and it could be solved with a software update.

I don't really understand your message
Your battery may be low and/or your alternator is dead/dying. When you install a new battery you do have to code it to the car, however, I have not heard of people getting error messages due to that |

Check the condition of your battery well, but it could be some problem with the throttle actuators.
Although first try what they tell you at the dealership |

perdón uso traductor.
el problema es al arrancar motor , salta fallo DSC y perdida de potencia. Código 5E15 gestión motor RPM limitadas a 4000 RPM. detengo el motor,saco la llave. Arranco motor y se elimina fallo. Batería no es original. bmw recomienda instalar batería original y actualizar DME. creéis que por no llevar la batería original da ese problema?? |

Hi Lustik,
The translator is rough! I think I understand what you are saying which is the car goes into limp mode and once you turn off the car then restart it works fine. This is a common indicator as Rochan mentions of throttle actuator failure. I dont think a battery would cause limp mode but a low battery can cause all kinds of issues electronics wise. Check the resting and running battery voltage to make the call on that but I think your TAs are the issue. Hola Lustik ¡El traductor es rudo! Creo que entiendo lo que está diciendo: el carro entra en modo de cojera y, una vez que lo apaga, reiniciarlo funciona bien. Este es un indicador común ya que Rochan menciona la falla del actuador del acelerador. No creo que una batería provoque un modo débil, pero una batería baja puede causar todo tipo de problemas con la electrónica. Verifique el voltaje de la batería en reposo y en funcionamiento para realizar la llamada, pero creo que su TA es el problema.

Hello and thanks everyone for answering. Looking for information I found this in this same forum. I wrote to Musa that he was the one who published it, but he does not respond. My problem is the same code 5E15, but it only happens once when I start, never circulating. hola y gracias a todos por contestar. buscando información he encontrado esta en este mismo foro. Le he escrito a Musa que es el que lo publicó,pero no contesta. mi problema es el mismo código 5E15,pero solo me pasa alguna vez al arrancar,nunca circulando. |
