I'm so excited.

I will have to scan my m3 now that I just got it back from the shop.
On a side note, what other things could possibly go wrong with SIMILAR symptoms? I will try to scan it today if I can figure out how.

Just check codes and had 2b25
Yup, bank 1. Will just replace both.

Also, any idea on why I get an “increased emissions” warning once in a while?
I googled it and saw people replaced old o2 sensors.
If that’s the case, where should I buy my o2 sensors?

Well check amazon too. If its the Upstream O2 sensors, amazon themselves sells the OEM bosch for 20% less than FCP Euro, and they had some "open box" ones for like 27 bucks.

That said, i got mine from FCP euro. bezos has got enough of my money .

"Due to a design flaw, the throttle actuator gears wear prematurely and causes overload on the internal electronics. This is a common failure with the S85 and S65 engines on the E9x M3, E60 M5, and E6x. Common symptoms of the failure of the actuator is the car going into limp mode, fault code 2B15 (throttle bank 1) and 2B16 (Throttle bank 2). At first the problem seemed to be weak plastic actuator gears that would slip and spin and not move the throttles. But after years of research, we have concluded that 90% of the time worn gears causes the mosfets and other electrical components to over work and fail. Therefore, complete replacement is the current best course of action.

We provide a remanufactured BMW throttle actuator with a LIFETIME WARRANTY at a fraction of the cost for a new OEM unit. "
This. And cheaper.

I didn't end up buying the actuators from FCP. It was a better product and deal with the Mpower

Did you have to re-code or program them after you put them in?
