Car pulling to the left
Good afternoon guys, I wanted to bounce some ideas off of you...
I recently did a 2 day at Roebling road (hard sweeping right turns, pretty tough gravel). I trailered the car home, so i did not get to see if the car was pulling... Immediately following, I changed my suspension to KW Clubsports, and the car was pulling to the left, thought it was just the alignment. I had my local race shop do an alignment yesterday specs are as follows: F: Camber -2.6/-2.6 Toe 0/0, Caster 7/7.2, 0 total toe, 0 steer ahead R: Camber -1.7/-1.7 Toe 1/32 RL, Total Toe 1/16, .01 Thrust angle I couldn't imagine the alignment is the problem, as it's pretty much dead on to where it needs to be. FWIW i am running a square setup 275/35/18. Since I am relatively new to tracking, I do not really know how tires react. Could my pulling to the left be due to the uneven wear from all the right hand turns? I am planning to run them in reverse for my next 1 day event, and flip them for the next 2 day. Let me know what you guys think. Thank you! Also - the car's front bushings are all in good shape, no accidents. |

bingo. you got it. its your tire wear. ideally flip or rotate mid-day at track but sometimes it's not feasible. Take into account for the track the number L/R turns and you should be fine.
