What I would like to do is run them both @ Firebird raceway to get 1/4 times... Well I just want to see what my car does . If anyone wants to go let me know so we can plan. I want to run my modified Flex, which with all wheel should do well

Ok...... I agree with the weight difference but ......... When you choose words like "MASSIVE" to push a product/Tune I would expect for it to at least stick it ....you know why ? ........cause of the word massive that's why ....

Nonetheless good runs fellas

too funny, but it was from about 70 to just over 140 .. and yes we had a CLEAR path, no cars near us for those of you who care. I should have brought my GOPRO to tape it

just watched the video, at the very start when you pulled on him slightly, that is how I was pulling on him except I kept going. We didn't do the "3 honk start", I gunned it once I heard him hammer it, so he started out slightly ahead and I had to play catch up.

Last week I had some coding changes performed remotely by Mike B at BPMSport. Then this week I finalized the coding and had the ECU tuned. All I can say is WOW!

I took it out just to get a feel for any changes and it's like a whole new car again! Kudos to Mike for creating such an easy process for people to follow to get these features added to their car. I thought about learning to code it myself, but I work on the other side of the US and just don't have time to learn it - let alone make ANY mistakes.

Mike's changes were awesome. Even without M activated (EDC off, Power On, DSC on) it still has this 'uncaged' feeling to it. Activating the M (EDC Sport, Power Plus, DSC Euro MDM) it is an animal!

When we bought our 911 C4S we drove a turbo to see how we liked it and I remember telling the guy, 400hp with turbos should give me that HAND OF GOD feeling when they spool up. I just wasn't getting that feeling in the 911 turbo. I was a bit disappointed - hence the C4S sitting in our garage. But the M3 gives me everything that I was looking for in the Porsche and more. I am so in love with this car.

If you're looking for an easy upgrade, check Mike out. Funny, easy going, and all around nice guy.

/obligatory - I am in no way affiliated with BPMSport.
Nice run

Looks like he started before you and you caught up and pulled

I short shifted 2nd to 3rd lol. But in all seriousness, he did pull away from me here. I was fully expecting this outcome. I had fun meeting PhoenixRising and putting my car against his and I hope this helps show that a tune can give you the edge needed to win a race.

Great meeting you too. The video turned out great. I agree it was a slight advantage - just barely pulling away. I was curious what the change in HP really equates to and that makes sense. Maybe 1/2 car length in that 10th of a mile. We didn't want to go crazy, weaving through traffic or anything. I was happy SYZ and his brother felt the same way.

Definitely proves that I'm not the Fast & Furious demographic! I'm told old for that sh*t.

Thanks again, everyone!

This is why I laugh a bit when software reviews include words like "insane" "massive" "crazy" to describe the difference the tune makes to the car. At the end of the day you are picking up a few HP, some added options and maybe someone who tweaks your throttle map to make the pedal more sensitive.

I think its common sense that any tune to an NA car will only net a small incremental gain in HP. Nevertheless, additional HP is gained with the tune and you are getting what you paid for. I can't expect a (for example) $1000 tune to net me 100hp.

All that said, the throttle mapping, timing and other wizardry (to us unsophisticated folk) that goes into a tune does improve overall drivability and makes my experience in the car that much better.

Spend your money where you want to, I for one am very happy with my BPM Tune. Call it what you will, its my testimonial and my own feed back. I have not compared it with other tunes, nor do I plan to.

At the end of the day, this forum is meant to share info so providing a good review for a crappy product is counter productive.

Thanks for the feedback OP.

Good point!
Now I'm checking out the Eisenmann Sport Exhaust. Thanks, SYZ, for putting that in my head!

hehe. Remember, tell the better half that it improves the characteristics of the vehicle and it's practically necessary to do so.

No kidding! Next it's headers for the 911. That should grease the wheels.
