agree, Baltimore in general is iffy, but the innor harbor area is nice. Been through NJ, wasn't that impressed, but don't know if the two are comparable. If it bothers you that much b/c of location, then you are free to opt out

Yea except NNJ has some of the most expensive towns to live in the country. I would say the same thing if they were having it in Paterson or Newark or Camden. There are plenty of other places on the east coast to have a show like this is all I am saying.

If locations near expense towns to live was a requirement, the event would be held in Hawaii or downtown NYC

Several counties surrounding Baltimore are some of the richest in the country. Name any big city and you can rail about the crime, gangs, etc. Baltimore does get a bad rap (thanks, David Simon), but has some great bars, restaurants and an active nightlife in many areas throughout the city. The area around the inner harbor is a great place to hang. It also has bad areas, high crime and pockets of both low income and mega million dollar condos. Just like most cities. It's geographic location also probably make it a good pick for an east coast event

The Baltimore Inner Harbor will be a great venue. I decided on this location for a few reasons.

It is a central locaton to all on the east coast that is within driving distance for most located right off RT95 (which is "THE" hwy of the east coast).

I will have a list of "sights to see" while in the area for those who have never been to Baltimore. It will offer everyone a great opportuinity to make a small trip/vacation out of the event. (plenty to do in and around the Baltimore area)

You have plenty of historic landmarks and other things to do in Baltimore, Annapolis, and D.C which are all within 30 mins of each other.

There is also plenty of after hours scenes (Canton, Fed Hill, Fells Point, Downtown Annapolis Waterfront) that can keep everyone busy.

The Venue is within walking distance to everything...so during the event you will have options to think about.

I think a Venue located in a prime area with optins for other things to do, beats a venue in an area near nothing with nothing to do.

I hope I can meet all of you at ///MPACT
