Just got back from a nice drive and it's in the high 60s low humidity here in Florida.
I know I just installed an underdrive pulley kit, but my god my car felt half it's age tonight. I spun almost all the way through second (with the help of low tread). Anyone else down here have the same effect with cooler weather? I know all engines do better when cool, but now I'm starting to think my car might be dogging a little too much in the heat. I don't remember this much of a difference last year, or maybe I'm just used to the 90 degree heat 8 months out of the year. |

My car acts similarly. Some days it is just like you described, feels like half it's age and pulling hard as hell. Other days, especially when 100°F+, she feels a little beat down.

Ha! Good to hear what I've always noticed. Here in NC once it hits mid 50s to low 60s, the car performs strongest for sure. When you start to hit the 40s the rears struggle for grip.
