Armoured coolant hoses installed

We’ve all seen these bad crashes on Nürburgring Nordschleife due to coolant spray on the track. That’s why I changed old coolant hoses to high quality racing (five layers of Swedish armory!) do88 coolant hoses. My M3 E92 is from 2010 so it was a time.

What was the purpose of this post? Referral link to your blog? The "reviews" are like 2 generic sentences.

This is basically spam…

What was the purpose of your post. No content, just a referral to your Instagram account. If my post is a spam, when......

Interesting!

The post history suggests otherwise, and I don't have a link embedded.

Point is, I clicked it. Was excited to hear your thoughts and experience with those lines. But alas…

My post was to save others from wasting their time.

Have to agree with DRLane here. I expected more in terms of a review.

I am sorry that you guys expected some kind of product review. Not intended to write a full fledged review.

But I am also not related to this company in any way. Just was happy to improve my car for safer track use and happy about this solution. Heading to Nordschleife....

Fitment is good? No leaks? Where do I sign up!

Was fitment good on the oem hoses? Were there any leaks on the ones you pulled off?

New oem equivalent hoses probably would have checked the same two boxes, fwiw.

Would be curious to see a cross-section of one of these hoses versus OEM. What's the price differential?

Looks like it's cheaper than the BMW labelled hoses.

Believe you have to cut and reuse the OEM connections

I was gonna order these once upon a time, but all my cooling stuff is brand new for the most part. Next time I do a refresh I'll do the do88 hoses.

That is my concern also. The couplings on the stock hoses are plastic. If they're a few years old does it make sense to re-use an old coupling with a new do88 hose? Aren't we just moving the potential failure point from the hose to the coupling?

How long have you had those do88 hoses? I'm trying to figure out if the couplers fail eventually and you need to buy new BMW hoses anyway for the couplers.
