Looks like it needs to be sanded down and re-clear coated. Any body shop should be able to do this.

I would shop around. Ask to see previous work before pulling the trigger.

contact chapparone Auto body to see if they can.

Yes I actually sanded mine myself and took it to a buddy with a body shop.. it came out ok but not perfect.. the old clear was rotten and coming off in sheets. Here's a few pics finished product first. That's a reflection of a hanging cable in the first pic not a scratch lol

This is subjective. You did your own sanding and prep, and the end result in my opinion is not up to par... so anybody whos is ok with your result, and doing their own prep, then maybe $1k. Otherwise in reality most shops wont touch a roof that is as far gone as yours, for the simple reason that they would not be able to warranty the repair.

No, just the seals and gutters then I replaced the seals after, they're quite easy to Change with a little patience. I used a 5" razor blade to "shave" off the remaining clear coat then hit it with some wet and dry started with 120 grit going up to 1500 with a DA sander. I then had a buddy finish it off in his body shop. He only charged me $400 for materials and labor. It's not perfect but beats paying for a new panel which I imagine would run $3-4K. Just to clarify I feel if I didn't do any prep myself I'd expect to pay $1k to have it done. My roof looked a lot like yours before I started it. Here's some current pics.

Exactly why I prepped it myself. I assumed all the risk with the outcome but knew I could just paint it if It didn't work out or replace the panel which would of been a tough expensive pill to swallow on my old car. I think if it was gonna cost me anything close to $2k I would have pulled the panel and got a new one.

I tried a few different shop but they didn't seem to have the experience or know what to do.

Yes they did. Maybe because your actual CF is messed up and not just the clear?

Was your clear peeling off and your bare cf was exposed?

I know this place is 1.5 hrs away from San Diego, but Big Ron's body shop in Garden Grove works with modified cars all the time, and have a lot of experience working with carbon fiber.

They repaired my roof, which was peeling to the bare carbon. They said to fix it I needed to reclear the whole roof, and carbon fiber requires a special clear coat which not a lot of body shops carry.

My roof is as good as new and cost a lot less that $1K. Might be worth the drive if you want to job done right. I drove an hour to get to this place and it was worth it. Family owned business with excellent customer service.
