.....that explains it!

So the Coupè (E92) is 25 kg lighter than the Sedan (E90).

Thanks for the clarification

Can someone please photoshop the coupe's rear taillights on the sedan? I can now only imagine what it would've looked like.

i dont think the coupe rear would looks good/suitable on the sedan since the sedan has a chunky rear, as opposed to the coupe rear which is slimmer, refined and softer.

nonetheless, a photoshop is still welcome.

The narrower side vent actually still looks pretty good.
Actually from this photo, the side vent is a completely different design.

And the coupe

I got to say, I like the side vent on the sedan better. Looks like the one of the M5. It's close though.

Sedan FTMFW!

But

If its more than or the same price as a CPO'd or FS by 1st and only owner e60 m5, it will be hard for me not to go for the v10...

Then again, I'd love to order one and pick it up in Europe...

I'll get the coupe but I like the 90's side vent and the rear bumper better. The bumper looks more rounded and IMO flows better.....and maybe pays homage to the rear of the E46 M also. The little valleys and channels on the rear of the 92 look a bit busy when compared to the smooth rear of the 90.

I like the Seden Version...

I currently have a 2005 BMW E46 TiAg M3 with Imola Red interior. I love the car but I'm now leaning towards the 2008 E90 M3 Space Gray with Fox Red interior Sedan.

I want to have a Sports Family Sedan Car which fits rear passengers comfortably.

I can wait to see when they get the Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) probably in Spring 2008. Anyone have any insight on this progress?

Thanks,
Darren
