coupe looks better. i just hate the rear lights on the 4 door, and the trunk on the 4 door look too short!

anyways knows if the 4 door M3 headlights are exclusive to the 4 door M3 or are all 4 door 3 series getting the coupe headlights as a facelift?

I like the Front and Side better on the coupe but I like the sedan's rear more.

"What really sets the 2008 BMW M3 Sedan apart from the lesser 3 Series sedan is unique front-end styling that adopts the curvy headlamps and grille from the 3 Series coupe. It is a look that will remain unique to the M3 sedan, BMW says, providing it with a sleeker, sportier identity."

The 90 has a different side vent and rear bumper design. Only just picked up on that.

I'll be damn, you are right. Actually the rear bumper I did notice before (I actually like the E90 one better). But I did not realize that the fender vents were different. So the fender sheetmetal actually is different for the E90. Actually it makes sense now, since the door shape is different in front (which I forgot), they had to have a seperate part, so it made sense to resculpt the vent too.

Yeah, can't believe there hasn't been alot more noise about the different rear bumper and the side vents.

The rear bumper is totally smoothed out. Looks like BMW was responding to some criticism.

The narrower side vent actually still looks pretty good.
Actually from this photo, the side vent is a completely different design.

And the coupe

The rear bumper on the e90 is so much improved over the coupe....wish they would have realized that mistake in time to put it on the coupe. The way the bumper bulges inward is just awkward looking. I think both side vents look great in their own way.

Where did you get those e90 M3 figures, becuase i just saw some other numbers which show that the e90 M3 is going to be lighter than the e92 M3

Both are beauties. Geez. That is one thing the competitors have yet to rival.

The numbers I quoted are from the German PR. The weight you're referring to is the DIN weight, that's 75 kg less than the weight following EU standard. E92 M3's DIN standard weight is 1580kg.
So the Coupè (E92) is 25 kg lighter than the Sedan (E90).

Best regards, south
