POST 1,000!!!!!!

Nice car and great pics!

Congrats!!!!

Sprungli is one of my favorite places in all of Europe, I just came back from Europe last week and spent at least $500 at Sprungli on chocolate. That place is to die for.

And driving in Zurich is a bitch, I agree... But you know what, the roads in Switzerland (and in Germany) make Los Angeles look like a third world country.

Agreed. The chocolates there are fantastic. It's true the Authobhan and most outer city roads are very nicely kept. I don't think there were any potholes or bumps in the roads. One thing's for sure though, I won't be driving in Zurich again lol.

There was a thread around here where someone said they got some curb rash during ED, and when they picked it up in the US it had a new wheel. Cross your fingers...

I think you have me mistaken with someone else...

I've wanted this car since I was 8 years old. I didn't even bother test driving any other car and bought this as soon as I had the cash to do so.

those puff pastries are called macarons. The famous ones are in Ladurée in Paris, France, and you can pick up tasty and cheap ones at McDonald's in Europe!

Gorgeous car! I'm hoping to be able to do a european delivery of a jet black E90 M3 with competition package next year. I guess I need to go to my dealership and figure out when I'd need to order by.

I loved Salzburg when I was there years ago. If I do ED I'd like to hit up the following cities in a two week tour:

Munich
Salzburg
Innsbruck
Fuessen
Lucerne
Baden-Baden

It takes 30 days from the day you order the car to do an ED. I would say you can order early February and go early to mid March!

I agree Salzburg is an amazing city. Wish I spent a little bit more time there and less time in Zurich.

It is hard to capture the experience in pictures and words. It is truly an amazing feeling isn't it? I did ED with a buddy this May but I plan to take my wife there in the future. I would sell my M3 next summer just so I could do European Delivery again!!!!
BTW It is worth putting 1200 miles on the car and doing the break in service just to enjoy the autobahn!

Yeah I was trying to get to 1200 miles but I just didn't have enough time . At least I'm more than half-way there. I will definately be doing another ED in my lifetime. It's just too much fun!

That 1,200 mile service has gotta be pricey over there. I was thinking about that because if it all possible I'd love to make my way up to the 'ring if I did ED.

I spent three weeks in Germany when I was in high school, had my 18th birthday there. THat was over 10 years ago now, I'd love to go back. The wife and I really want to plan it around Oktoberfest 2011, but I'm not sure the production will go until then.
