everyone is saying ride quality will suck and tires will be more expensive.
and its not as functional as 19's performance wise.... i guess 19's it is. Wes, i wanna run as wide as set-up as possible. would be cool if i could fit 9X19 and 10.5x19.

I prefer performance & looks on the street so i went with 19s. Some people just prefer looks so they might go for 20s... no sense in doing shiet to your car that other people say look good

but wont 20's give me less or not as grippy traction as 19's cause of less tire?

yes but even my car doesn't get traction on the 19s... it all depends. driving style, tire, amount of power etc...

You can go pretty wide on the rear since the fenders can be rolled, but not on the front.
If you want M3 fitment for the rear, you can do something like 19 x 9.5 ET20 or if you want wider, you can do 19 x 10, but since the wheel is now a half inch wider (1 inch = ~25mm), you need to change your offsets to something less aggressive. Something like ET30 (adding reducing 10mm) or ET35 (reducing 15mm). For some reason, if you wanted wheels that were 19 x 10 AND you wanted an aggressive offset (e.g., ET20), you would need to stretch your tires in order to work. This is part of the reason why you really shouldn't get 20's. If you had 20's, the sidewall would be very thin so if you ran a stretch on tires like that, you would be fucked if you hit any sort of bump on the road. For the front wheels, you can do 19 x 8.5 ET35 or even 19 x 9 ET30 (I think you would be pushing it with this). Again, you can go wider/more aggressive if you stretch your tires. |

ET refers to the offset. For example, you can say ET20 or +20.
Yes. 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 10 would be your best bet. If you did 19 x 10 in the back, you will more than likely have to roll your fenders. |

You need to pay attention to tires, too. Some tires are shaped differently and will be more prone to rubbing. The Falken FK452 have a nice, rounded sidewall so you would be less likely to rub with those tires. |

They're good for the street Quote:
AD08s are where it's at, around $1200-1300 for a set, and PSS are about $1300 for a set. Riz, you should go read up in the Wheels and Tires section
