Collection of E9X M3 Diffusers

I am interested in diffusers for my car--mainly for the rear--so I surveyed what has been published so far on the forum. Add pics if you know of other designs. It might make sense to display whatever is out there together. Only the 3D rear diffuser looks like an option to me at this point.

Thx Lucid. I am looking to get the 3D design rear, ACS rear is #2 option. None of the fronts do it for me. Anyone have a Japanese auto contact, maybe a 3D group buy? The ACS would be easy to get since they have US distributors.

dont like any of the rear ones - schnitzer would be OK if the tailpipes weren't merged imo

only front one I like is ericsson - it better be nice for 1 beeelion dollars

hamann looks like a wreck

IMO they all look like crap. A big difference between the E92 M3 and E46 M3 is that the front and rear of the E46 M3 was ripe for visual improvement. The stock diffuser on the E46 was plain and boring and once the Vorsteiner/CSL diffuser hit the market, people were all over it thanks to its curvy design. The E92 M3 on the other hand has an elegant rear diffuser with plenty of dramatic curves to accentuate the exhaust tips. As for the front, I think it looks perfectly aggressive stock with no need for an add-on. All those diffusers just look like excessive toppings that add no character to the car and only make everything look much worse.

Something needs to be done about the exhaust hanging low for sure. I need to see the car in person and live with it for some time to decide.

I agree with ///MML that the 3D rear is looking like a good option at this point.

I agree with nechronics that the Ericsson fronts are not looking bad either.

I think front and back looks best with the Ericsson kit.

Agree with Xcellere, not a fan of most of them. I would like to do something about the gigantic rear muffler. Whether that is swapping out the exhaust or putting in a diffuser.
Valvetronic F1 exhaust FTMFW!!!!!!!!

i dont like any front so far, maybe amuse one but notreally... i'd take the splitters on OEM bumper if anything. 3D rear is okay. nothing too crazy, but not ugly like the rest

Kreis-sieg FTMFW!!!! But $6,000 exhausts FTMFL. The stock muffler needs to go though, that thing is friggin' huge.

Ability to switch though! Man, that has me thinking of setting up a special fund for that purchase.

Agreed. New exhaust is a potential mod I am considering as well. That could the negate the need for a rear diffuser, and most likely cost the same. I just haven't heard one that I like better than stock though.

I know, it would be so sick and worth it. I heard the new valve switch is going to be wireless too.

Kreis-sieg never produces a bad exhaust. They're more like artwork.

Yeah at 6 grand, it better be! I'm not going to spend that much on an exhaust though.

All of the front splitters are cheeseball.

I do like the 3D design rear diffuser because it is subtle, it retains the overall stock rear appearance and it hides the muffler well. (I would like to see a pic of the underside where the diffuser meets the exhaust/body.) Quality and price need to be right.

All of the rest of the rear diffusers are whak.

3D rear is OK, but not enough so for me to buy one. All of the fronts are

I'm getting JzB and I'm banking on being able to paint the mufflers in flat black. I suspect that will be more than adequate

I think a little carbon fiber at the rear will help hide those mufflers and be a nice touch. My car will be lowered about an inch so maybe that will help some with the muffler. I'm not looking to replace the rear just an add on. Hopefully more stuff will come out in the next 3 mo.
