To EDC or not?

Hi all, I'm not really asking if EDC is worth the extra money, just how the "normal" setting compares to Non EDC?

On my prevouse M3, there has been time when I would have liked things a bit softer, when i did feel like ragging it, but just wanted a relaxing drive.

I test drove a non EDC car before ordering mine and put it this way I ordered it. I was comparing the ride quality against my Porsche which had the active suspension and is the EDC equivalent and it gives you the best of both worlds. I drive round normally in comfort mode and when i want to give it some I have the M button programmed to Sport + which is the most aggresive setting.

I would order it again without question and i think it helps with the resale afterwards.

Did I read somewhere you have sold your M3? Are you selling your ZCP's?

So would you say the comfort mode is softer than the non EDC car?

ZCP's went with the car, dealer has given me time to find a replacement set, so I can swap them. This is only applicable until the cars sold of course.

Need to find the link to one of the threads but I remember the comparison of non-EDC is in between normal and sport.. my memory could be failing me though!

If you're going 19's, then EDC on an E9x is essential IMO.

I used COMFORT 99% of the time, even at the 'Ring I only used NORMAL (I had the 19's with PS2's)
