Granted a 285 out back with a 255 front is 30mm stagger vs. the OEM 20 but it is closer and it is whats on the GTS. A 295 rear should be followed along with a larger than 255 tire up front. Problem is your only choice is a 265/30/19 which is just way short for a tire at just 25.3" tall and the 275/30.17 which on a 9" rim will fit but once again its not optimal. If you are going to go down the road of a 295 rear I would also go with the 275 front on the 9" front ZCP wheel.

Something I have been pondering myself.

Another advantage of a 295 tire is that there is a larger selection of tires available than with the 285/30./19 as the 295/30/19 tire is a OEM PCar size.

Somebody ought to sticky this, best concise summary of the various plus size tire options for 9" / 10" wheel setup. I wound up with the 275/295 combo - best match to OEM width and height staggers but knowing the downsides. Now that I need new rears I really want to make the jump to GTS sizes. Wish they made either the AD08 or PSS in 285/30.

I'd run stock size and use PZero's for meat...those tires look like an upsized tire in stock size.

What is it about the 295/30 that would make you want 285/30 instead? Is it the rubbing in the rear?

Yes, would like to have flexibility to lower it. Already at -2.0 rear camber and have some rubbing under full compression (gets worse with people in the back.) Biggest reason, though, is to go narrower than 275 up front and still keep close to OEM stagger/diameters.

It seems with the E92 there is no rubbing with 295s out back on a ZCP wheel. The only ones I hear that are rubbing are the E90s.

Can someone with experience please confirm that 255/35/19 and 285/30/19 on STOCK ZCP rims will work with no rubbing and no camber issues? Thanks!

Need some help here also.

Lowered on RD Sport springs, currently stock size 265/35 in the rear. 12mm spacer in the rear. Would 275/30 fit? Or should I stick with 265/35...

275 will fit fine, i'm running that exact set up, no rubbing at all.

I was waiting for you to get these - any initial thoughts? Have you put enough miles on them yet to give us a debrief ?

Bud the car handles much better already with wider 9 inch ZCP wheel and 255 tire I fitted. Feels extremely stable.

I had 20x9 on my E92 with 255 and felt the difference with the thinner 8,5x19 220 OEM wheel with 245 sections. Car had crappy front end feel.

The Corsa is an unbelievable tire. This is the best OEM setup IMO.

Well that's short of BBSFI in 9,5x19 and 10,5x19 wearing 265/30/19 and 295/30/19

You guys MUST at a stage try Falcon RT615k semis. Much better than Corsas and Cups. They are really tough and last very well! Done 18000km with mine. Not as good as RE11 Bridhestone but the Falcons are very quiet and are good and drivable in the wet.
