Number of E92 M3s on the road in Australia
I came across an interesting site where you can look up any make/model of car and find out how many are still registered:
https://carsafe.com.au/risk-rating# The E90 M3 model isn't there due to low numbers, but the E92 M3 is listed in most states: SUMMARY for 2017/18: ACT: Not listed, <100 registrations NSW: Thefts 0, Registrations 394 NT: Not listed, < 100 registrations QLD: Thefts 1, Registrations 195 SA: Not listed, < 100 registrations TAS: Not listed, < 100 registrations WIC: Thefts 1, Registrations 385 WA: Thefts 1, Registrations 138 Total for Australia: Thefts 3, Registrations 1247. In comparison, there are still 1363 vehicles of the E46 M3 model registered, and; F80 M3: 5 thefts, Registrations 1248 vehicles. F82 M4: 5 thefts, Registrations 1374 vehicles. F22 M2: 2 thefts, Registrations 1808 vehicles. F20 M1: 2 thefts, Registrations 1312 vehicles. Cheers, |

Hi,
In the statistics it is listed as 'M1 MY12+'. When I 'bing' that I only get from Wikipedia that F20 should be called M135i, and from year 2016 M140i. Cheers, |

That’s really interesting. A total of 1,440 E92 M3s were made for Australia and New Zealand, with 1,389 of them for Australia.
So that’s not too bad a fall off rate by 2019. |
