I was curious to see if anyone has tried this titanium midpipe from alibaba.

So including me that makes three of us. When I was checking them out the only main difference I saw was the distributor/manufacturer. Not sure if they are the same one coming from the same factory/warehouse.

I’ve been wanting to get a exhuast system from there but from JTLD, they basically sell valvetronic version of it and you can order just midpipe or the entire thing. Check out this product on Alibaba App High performance car titanium valvetronic exhaust catback system for BMW E92 E90 M3 exhaust

I purchased this ti mid pipe pictured below from Alibaba - I am considering ordering some more or doing a group buy because it turned out so week. Can upload some sound clips. I had 200 cell race cats added. Fitment was a breeze.

KR performance in SoCal is who did the work.

I'm only going to produce a small batch of 5 soon.. so if any configuration needs to be done... id need to know asap.

I also ran the numbers for extra resonators and it'll be just $150 more.. so

$1850 for quad resonated.
$1700 for dual resonated.

no I won't do forward X as I don't want to deal with the implications of tuning for it (unless you buy Epic Race Tune)

and I personally don't like how forward X sounds.. only sounds good with specific rear sections...

That sounds like a great deal honestly for something made here in the states. Im definitely going to consider this and get back to you. Do you have any sound clips?

as far as sound clips on my end, I'm currently in testing phase... and my exhaust started to rattle cause i have a 4 pipe mod.. and I'm throwing a pre-cat cel so I'm going to replace that soon.. and make the sound clips.

Ive seen Sub2s offering and it looks incredible but with the price being a bit higher than I would like. I look forward tk hearing the setup you are testing once the issue is ironed out.

Hey omgzirra_exe definitely interested in the KR performance Ti X-pipe w/quad resonators... once development issues noted are sorted along with some clips.

In the market, lookin for a new 'exhaust note' config from existing...thinkin' mating the KR performance Ti X-pipe w/ a new SuperSprint F1 race?!?

When is the '5-unit build lot' date/finalization expected?

I understand, but I know more people are switching from forward X to standard due to sound reasons for a small % lost, like very small.

Forward X also comes with its own complications, notably rough low-speed issues. So that means having your tuner accommodate for it (or just ask Randy @ Epic for a tune).

Sure, you get a bit more mid-range power, I suppose. But in my opinion, it's not that great sounding with almost 80% of the rear sections on the market. I chose my design solely for sound reasons, regardless of what setup you're going with; either will make power just from the primary cat delete.

But you can spend money on either a BW forward X if you're lucky to even get one new or used, or buy the titanium forward X offered by @berns / sub2speedhouse

This has got to be very subjective...but I've got BW forward X with GESI 300 cell cats in secondary location with a Corsa rear and it sounds fucking awesome, not sure which rears sound bad with a forward X but certainly not Corsa! Also have the Karbonius plenum and the car is a god damn riot, between the induction noise and the exhaust note...and 0 drone. Would love the weight savings of Ti but I'm happy with my setup for now.

It’s very raspy and requires copper exhaust sealer at all connections. Leaks like crazy and makes a horrible sound when it leaks. Be sure to seal it up and you’ll be good. Also adding the race cats is a good idea for rasp kill and smell reducer.
