Best Valved E92 Exhaust

Hello,

Was wondering what recommendations everyone has for valved exhaust. Is there a way to get a valved exhaust that’s louder or equal to stock when closed? A few valved systems i’ve seen are quieter than stock when closed. For example valvetronic is known to be quieter from what i’ve seen.

Thank you for the help

i like my ti tuner valved one. yea it had manufacturing issues, but i "Fixed" it my self lol. anyways it's louder than oem when closed, and just straight piped when open.

although the lager muffler box does act as a Helmholtz chamber when the valves are opened.

There's really only 2 I would ever get.
I own the valvetronic designs v2 system. This setup sounds amazing while allowing it to be quieter than stock with the valves closed. Best for the price I would say, but there are other not so great options imo for cheaper.

The other is bomiz full titanium, if you have the money this is absolutely the exhaust to buy. This is on the list of mods I'll be picking up in the future.

The valvetronic designs axleback on its own sounded ok. I ran that for a while. It had nice tone. Then did test pipes and gintani tune and got some serious sound. Finally got the v2 midpipe and now it shoots flames and is REALLY loud.

I've heard some other kits and nothing else is special or better (imo) to valvetronic designs around the price. A friend picked up a valvemaster set recently. This one sounded ok, very similar to valvetronic but maybe slightly less sound and slightly more class.

Powercraft valved exhaust. Same price as Bomiz or Valtronic plus shipping and lead time. You can't beat Japanese build quality.

Never heard of this, and never seen valves placed like that before. Did you install it or have sound clips? Not a fan of the tips but curious how it sounds.

Found these on their site. Pricey system

I'll get it installed next week once my mechanic comes back from his vaca. It should sound nice with my forward xpipe. Will get some sound clips but there are many on youtube. Price is less than a GT2 or eisenmann race, shipping is a lot though. You'd get better pricing if you inquire directly.

My friend got the Meisterschaft valved on his e92 with stock midpipe. When open, it sounds LOUD AND ANGRY. When closed it is louder than oem, but not too much so.

How long have you had it, how would you rate the design quality? Looks like a great deal!

I know this is a bit older but I was wondering how it’s holding up? Also is there any drone in both the open or closed position for the valves? If so, how bad compared to stock?

My armytrix is 10 years old and still works flawlessly. I don't think many other valved exhausts will last as long as this one has. It also sounds incredible with my BW x pipe. As far as volume that is more dependent on your x pipe set up. Test pipes plus a valved exhaust will be louder than stock when closed

I went with an alibaba stainless steel valved exhaust, and only deleted my primaries. (had them make me a custom x pipe with resonators and secondaries).
It sounds great, when the valves are closed it sounds stock or very slightly louder but when open it sounds great. Issue is the fitment isn’t the best and the xpipe has a generic seal which causes misfires since it’s not properly sealed. When i changed my gaskets it fixed the misfires for a little but not permanently. Came back a few weeks later. I would avoid an alibaba x pipe.

Anyone here have any issues with valved no cat exhausts and tunes? Power loss? messing with the adaptation period of the new tune due to the opening and closing of valves periodically?
