Factory Radio Knob Removal

The radio knobs on the factory radio have become sticky. I'm going to order a couple of replacements (65-12-9-231-059). Does anybody know how to remove the existing knobs? Is it as simple as pulling on the old one to remove it and snapping in the replacement?

I just replaced both rotary knobs on the radio. Removal is simple, just pull the old knob and replace with the new one. Confirm that it is snapped in place and works as expected. Good as new!
