Individual audio? What is that? I have the premium system, CD but not the CD changer. I thought only needed to be coded to the vin and show the cd option in the coding? What coding and how did you go by coding exactly?
I have a CIC head I got off eBay, the seller said he coded for me, the CIC screen however has some blemish and it’ll look like shit so I’ve not installed yet. Thinking of sourcing another new head screen from bimmertek. But not sure I want to blow that kind of cash on one of their CiC systems.

Individual is the top tier sound system available, also known as EPS (enhanced premium sound). Yours is the level mid level system, also known as Logic 7. Then there’s the standard system below that.

Main difference between ours is 13 channel versus 16 channel, 420w amp vs 825w amp, and other little stuff.

I would hope the dude coded it to match your system. Did you supply the VIN? They should be able to pull the vehicle order and make all the necessary changes. Did the give any info on what they did?

Prob couldn’t hurt to follow up and ask for confirmation.

My screen was kinda beat up too, I used some NOVUS buffing solution off amazon and it cleaned it up enough to where I don’t notice it anymore

When I made the order for my M3 as I’m the original owner, I ordered the premium sound or what was available as the top tier system so I’m guessing that is what it has as it’s damn good and loud. As for asking what the eBay seller did, isn’t easy as he wasn’t much help but did code it with my vin.

If you can see thru the speaker grills and see a yellow speaker cone, you have the individual/EPS.

I may be wrong, but I think this system might not have been available in 2008?

Well that would be a first for me if that was the case. lol! I know they are the Hardon Karmen speakers and system supplied by bmw as an option. Since I’ve been on the fence of using Beamer text CarPlay system because it’s a supposedly a cleaner install, but it goes to the ox Drive, there’s a sound that much more amazing with the Mr. 12 going through the MOS boss? I’ve literally use the aux on this BMW since a day. I got it with an iPod in my phone now and the system still sounds amazing.

If you want to do a little experiment: Play the same song from your ipod/aux and then from a CD in the cd player, one right after the other, both at good loud volume. See if you can tell a difference.

In 17 years I’ve never played a cd in it. lol! Might not even work. The map DVD keeps screwing up with an error to where now navigation is unusable, another reason I want to get the CiC going first.
