I took it to the dealer and they said the iDrive 8.5 system but I'm throwing a shadow code now.

Does anyone have the part number for the iDrive 8.5 system but they couldn't replicate the issue. In my experience, replacing the sensor completely resolves this issue.
My G60 is doing this weird thing where the adaptive suspension and it completely bricked the module. Have you checked the fluid levels? That's usually the first sign of trouble.
