oh herro...yea i saw that video on nagtroc days ago. whoopty-doo IMO. you can build a battleship to beat a stock gtr if you're willing to throw enough coin at it. my gtr is an 09 632awhp garage monster. true pinnacle of japanese engineering as it knows how to obey the sit and stay command. why, you might ask? because every time it leaves the garage, it's at least a $1000 repair bill, it seems. stock gtr doesn't have that problem...but when you entrusted some morons with a dump truck load of cash to build you a reliable monster and they don't deliver, then you have a $75k (w/o mods) garage queen.

oh and hennessey...i'm a texan, as many know. hennessey is a texas company. i see a lot of hennescrewed around here. omfg they built a 1000hp escalade!!@#$11 great. it'll be blown up within a couple months. let's see the thing turn a corner. drag racing is for people with big egos and small penises. i'd rather have something that handles well all-around. here is the hennessey gtr for those who haven't seen! warning: prepared to be disgusted. john hennessey has a notorious reputation for building absolute shit buckets and putting them in magazines way before any actual R&D has been done. he pays quite a bit of money to those magazines for that honor. so while it may be just an escalade, it's also a hennessey escalade, which has about just as much merit to me as some hillbilly hotrod.

now, before i completely trash the gtr, it's a fantastic machine on all accounts. i probably should have entrusted my cash with someone a *bit* more reputable and qualified, although at the time, they were. (speaking about jotech) it wasn't until a few of us had our cars in the wild for a while that all these issues started popping up. there have been talks about some sort of class action lawsuit, but at the end of the day, it would probably cost us the same about in attorney's fees as it would to just fix the cars. there are hundreds of perfectly reliable heavily modified gtr's out there, i just picked the wrong shop to do the work.

sorry for the tl;dr, but just clearing the air about everything discuss ITT. carry on.

oh and my car in it's current condition (still very operable, just rough) would embarrass that escalade and 99% of cars on the road. i have a 2010 tahoe that i drive the piss out of because it's much more comfortable to drive and 100x more reliable.
