If I went the F80 route, I'd cover up the "M" to mask the upside-down orientation on the passenger side. Otherwise, seems like a solid upgrade.
I was thinking to get them repowdercoated a different color in the future. Yellow? Silver? No clue yet. Just happy I finally finished hahaha.

Oh absolutely! I'm just waiting for my RMA to arrive at ECS and then I'm gonna reorder what I need and finish up the rear to make them matching

not a glamour shot or anything, but just to give some reference with ZCP wheels and 10mm spacers since the only stock photos ECS has is of the 220 style wheels.

Sick!!

You should have gotten the car two inches further though, would have made a better shot!

Thanks for the pic, can't wait to see the result with the matching rear.

Thank you! And yeah, I can't wait! Shipping from ECS is usually really quick, so once my RMA is processed and I put a new order in, I should have the new brakes done by the end of next week, hopefully.

Bedded the brakes in...what a pain in the ass, lol. I forgot how much open space you needed to go from 70mph-10mph then repeating ten times and cooling the car off.

Did you get weights? I'm assuming this is at least as heavy as the stock setup if not heavier.

Not being able to do a rear option is going to make some people shy away. I wonder if a brembo or stoptech 4 piston on the rear would fit any of ecs rotors to make them match the front.

Looks really cool!

Maybe you want to check if the brake rotors are on the correct side. Seems to me that they are switched. Look at your before and after picture and compare the hole pattern. Air typically flows through the veins from the hub to the outside of the rotor while the car is moving forward. The hole patter of your after picture would suggest that your brakes suck air from the outside towards the hub...

Please check and stay safe!

I mean, there are matching rear rotors - just for the OEM rear calipers. If it really bugged someone, I'm sure one could measure the OEM ECS replacements and compare them to the Brembo GT rear kit. Maybe ECS will have an alternative rotor.

You go by the vanes of the rotor - not the design on the face of them. I double checked with ECS just to be sure.

No worries, I got called out by ECS on that one for not reading the instructions

I'm diggin' that option. This allows matching up caliper color on both axles. Silver would look clean if you can simulate a brushed aluminum tone.

Oops, I didn't see this. The rotors are roughly 28lbs a piece. Being 22mm larger than OEM, I would be absolutely surprised if they were lighter. That's a lot of extra metal. Calipers are much lighter, though.

I'm sure ECS can chime in with some comparisons.

I've seen iND work some magic. I'm sure they'd be able to hook it up when I'm ready to get them refinished.

That's about 6-7lb heavier than the Stoptech front 380mm rotor. Yikes.

Yeah, the UPS label said 57 lbs for the package and it was just the rotors and boxes.

I'll call ECS and maybe they can post up some pics for us.

Love the idea but it won't fit 18" wheels, which is preferred for track. Given the bbk should help with that. If ecstuning would make it fit stock rotors I would buy it in a heart beat

It might be able to clear.. the brembo 380 kit will clear 18's if the caliper bolt is grinded down a few millimeters.

This will fit some 18" wheels. The reason the ZCP's were having trouble (spacer is absolutely recommended) is because the inside of the barrel is relatively cramped compared to the Style 220M wheels.

I've seen 380mm brakes crammed into Forgestar 18" CF5 wheels.

Stock 360x30 rotor weighs in right around 22.8 lbs

ECS Rotor 382x36 rotor for this BBK weigh in right around 27 lbs.

HERE is a link to the wheel fitment template, some wheels will clear some will not, it all depends upon barrel design.

Thanks, James!

Did customer service happen to pass on my notes about the BBK? The ZCP wheel design is REALLY tight. A 5mm spacer is absolutely recommended from my install experience.
