E90 Silverstone M3 with DCT, only 56k miles (Rod Bearings replaced)
So my wife and I have decided to move to the outskirts of our town in order to get some more land, some privacy, and a nice view. The downside is that many of the roads are unpaved and plowing is slow to come. I didn't think I would be doing this for a long time, but the M3 has no place out there. I thought about keeping it for a summer car, but I'd be cringing everytime I heard the rocks popping up into the undercarriage. It has given me problem free ownership and I have gotten it up to date on its maintenance. Sorry if its not perfectly clean, its my daily driver and I took pictures when I could. So here are the details. 2009 E90 LCI M3 - https://www.mdecoder.com/decode/e201710 Silverstone Metallic Extended Palladium Silver Leather. No Sunroof Only 56k miles Fold down rear seats for passthrough Rear window powered sunblind M Drive EDC DCT transmission OEM exhaust mod (previous owner) All recalls have been performed Things I have done to it in my ownership. Rod Bearings replaced with BE Bearings and BE-ARP bolts (52k miles) New BMW Differential fluid (52k miles) New Motor mounts (52k miles) New engine air filter (54k miles) New cabin air filter (54k miles) New RBF600 Brake Fluid (54k miles) Last Oil Change with BMW 10w60 (54.5k miles) Backup camera installed Combox Retrofit and natively coded to the car (no emulators) Alpine Stage 1 93 octane Tune Alpine DCT GTS Tune New Pilot Sport AS3+ tires (only 5k miles on them) Car is otherwise stock. Its history is a little hard to track because it was purchased in Germany and lived half its life there with a service member. He brought it to the U.S. and then took it back to Germany, and then brought it back to the U.S. again before selling it. I bought it from the dealership that got it from auction. So I believe I am only the second actual owner of this car. I have one of his maintenance records from Germany that shows things like spark plug replacement at 37k miles. Buyer will get all of my maintenance records (with log book I started) and the german maintenance record. There is no accident history that I am aware of. Cosmetically, it is in very good condition. No dents or dings anywhere. It has some rock chips on the front bumper and the leading edge of the hood, and a paint scuff on the passenger side bottom of the front bumper. There is also a surface scratch (not a tear or anything) in the leather on the rear seat passenger side from the previous owner. It should be easily repairable, its just not something I have gotten around to. Let me know what questions you have. Its a truly excellent car that runs perfectly, but I need to get a truck to live out in the boonies. Asking $26k obo. I'm open to some negotiation. Edit: Carfax report added. For some reason, I thought owners 1 and 2 were the same and it was listed strangely due to its double import and export from Germany. But I don't know, I could be a legitimate 4th owner for the car. At request, here are a few pics of the driver bolster, the back seat scratches, the rock chips on the hood, and the scuff on the right lower bumper.
A few notes: 1) In the lower right area of the hood picture, thats a bit of sap I just cleaned off. I didn't even notice it until I took the picture. Car is garaged at home, but outside during the day at work. The rock chips are tiny and fairly hard to see. I bought some silverstone touch up paint, but I couldn't decide if they would look better or worse if I tried to apply it. I'll give it to the buyer and they can decide if they want to use it. 2) I'm not sure what caused the back seat scratches, it was like that the day I bought it. Probably something on a kids shoe from the previous owner. 3) In the driver seat pictures, there are no discolorations or anything, it just looks a little strange I think from the flash reflections. |
