New to M3Post, at least. Been pretty active on other forums.
Here's the car that brought me here. 2008, MT, slicktop, no iDrive, 18s. Bought with 80k miles. 1 previous owner who seems to have been pretty competent. Hoping to keep it as a year-round DD for who-knows-how-long. This isn't my first car with an M3 badge; I had an E36 before this. But this still feels like new territory because... holy crap is it a different car. Barely feels related to the E36. Feels more like an M5 to me. Already done diff and trans fluids, engine and cabin air filters, and one or two minor things. She's going in for rod bearings at Bimmerworks in a couple of weeks. Until then, it's all about enjoying it as much as I can with winter tires! Speaking of which: F30 Sport 18s are perfectly suitable as winter wheels, but man do they sit weird without spacers... |

Nice wagon, welcome!
Edit: Run M270s for my winters. Same here but a 12mm spacer in the rear straight things up. Last edited by Helmsman; 12-02-2018 at 10:01 AM.. |

Welcome! You weren't kidding when you said they sit odd with no spacers on the F30 18s, those rears are killing me haha. I would just run your 219m wheels then pick up a sweet new set for the decent weather months, but thats just my wheel obsession talking. Enjoy the car man!
