Spring Has Sprung!
Okay so this will be a pretty lame OP, but as those of you who are in the northeast probably know spring is finally here it appears. I took out the M for the first time in months today and drove to work. Wow did I miss this thing.
I thought it might be cool to post up the "just out of hibernation" pics you guys might have taken. Its a great feeling getting to take your car out for the first time in a while. Here is mine waking up |

Great day indeed Steve ... watch out for them rocks on the road and no need to mention potholes yet to be filled
Save driving always

I would not just keep this car locked up. I live almost as far northeast as you can go and would take my M3 out when the snow melted after each of the past snow storms this past Winter. No need to keep it locked up that long. I have taken my M3 out each of the past months since October 2012. Winter was not bad here as opposed to Barrow Alaska. Now thats Winter, not little Maine.

Thank God I don't live in a place that requires me to store my car away for the winter/bad weather months...I would go crazy. lol

You have some real discipline to not have winter-equipped her and driven her all year long. Now Amber-delete her! I'm sure you have the new-car grin all over again.

I wasnt really trying to start a drive in the winter/dont drive in the winter debate. More just wanted to start a thread specific to people celebrating driving in nice weather again. Should be something even people switching from winter to summer set ups can appreciate too. |
