New Winter Setup - Sport Edition/Blizzak WS60

Hi guys,

Tire Rack has delivered yet again. These arrived today. I will post pictures on the car once I install them.

They are Sport Edition A7 Painted Black
Blizzak WS60 235/40/18 All around.

Went with WS60 versus the LM's because I need a pure winter setup and am not concerned as much with performance when it is -30 C.

That's some serious winter rubber there! Would like to see what these rims look like on the car. My LM-60's will be going on in a few weeks..

"Twinbo, what is best in life?"

"To crush the snowflakes, and see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women (in their SUV's with crappy all season tires)."

Would love to see pics also. Considering this setup or going with staggered instead. Heard people complain about rear looking small but maybe they're exaggerating.

I have the same wheels...just put them back on today. Mine are the grey color, and oddly enough I thought about painting them black...I didnt know you could purchase them in black. Looks good.

Twinbo! We have the exact same set-up, MisterM3 pointed me towards your thread. You plan on driving the whole winter with these?

Of course! I need to put that ski pass through to good use. I think I will only drive the car this winter though. Got a big rock chip coming back from Red Deer on Friday and it pissed me off. Thinking of a winter beater along the lines of a 01/02 4Runner, 03/04 Jeep Cherokee for late this winter or next.

That sucks, sorry to hear it man. Just get the windshield replaced right when you put your stocks/summers back on.

Yea winter beater is the next thing on my list too but probably gonna hold off until next year cos I only just picked this beast up recently. See you around bro

Just ordered the same set up for my car from Ben at Tire Rack. Great service. Should be going on later this week.

The jiggly WS60 may not be much fun on dry pavement, but you won't be complaining in the snow.

+1. They are no fun at all. Fanatic - be careful for the first few hundred kms as the tires do have a bit of a "break-in."
Turn in is "numb" when compared to PS2.
These items will not matter shortly when there is snow on the ground but should be noted anyways.
