AA catless Xpipe vs any other catless Xpipe?
I know the AA is dual resonated. Doesn't seem to get much love on here, how does it compare to other catless Xpipes? Namely Gintani?

I like the way the AA pipe has V-Band clamps for the primary cat delete. You can make or buy primary cat inserts if you later decide you want the cat option for inspection purposes.
You could add this to other catless x-pipes, but more work is involved since the V-Band clamp is not in place and the other makers do not offer the cat insert pipe option. It would be a DIY job. |

The Akrapovic X-pipe would my choice since you already have the SlipOn system. If within a particular budget, the Challenge Race X-Pipe (stainless) would be a close second.

Do the resonators restrict power in any way? Or is it so minimal it doesnt even matter?
Because i wonder what a dyno would say on a Challenge race vs race+

The Gintani is a good piece, had it on the car for 2 years, fit is perfect, certainly increased volume but did not add any drone. Made the car sound mean. Downsides are the smell, but you get used to it, and when running it hard on the track, having to clean the rear of the car, with AW it would turn beige. With, SG, it shouldn't be too bad.

I just instaled AA catless x pipe today and i must say the sound is amazing, that of course is my opinion and its a subjective one. It sounds stock unless stepped on hard which then produces an exotic ferrari/rasp type of note, not very raspy but just right for me. I do get this weird small noise, like a humming at certain spots on the rpm range. It sounds like when you wind your finger tip over a glass just a lot deeper. This doesn't happen throughout a rpm range just on a given rpm, mine is at 3900. I'm very picky and paranoid about noises so im sure most people wont notice, i also have the rear stock exhaust so that may complicate the sound, im sure with a full exhust this would sound just great.
