Question for you guys:

I have a 2009 E90 M3 and have tried finding a part number for the black window trim on the rear drivers side. Photo is attached.

Does anyone know the part number?

As far as I know, it comes as one piece. Best bet is to order it from the dealer to avoid shipping charges.

Not saying the piece doesn't exist but I do know the shadowline trim comes as one long piece.

A possible alternative is fixing the chip, a perfect match can be found at Walmart believe it or not.

Thanks for the reply.

I will try that black marker out & try to avoid paying nearly $300 to replace.

Take note, brilliant black. It's a perfect match, be sure to prime roller ball tip on a pu cr of paper before using and update us with the results.

I ordered the piece and it is indeed one long piece. First one I got was damaged as it is hard to package well. 2nd was ok but even brand new the edges are so thin it chips easily. Paint touch up is way to go

Update

Hey guys. I used the paint recommended and it definitely is a good temporary fix. Better than paying $300 for a new trim piece.
