Will likely be picking up a moonroof-equipped E90, and couldn't really find anyone thats done the swap on a moonroof car. Or at least the search function didn't turn anything up.
Obviously I would need slick top headliner. But as far as removing the moonroof components, or if there's additional bracing etc. is what I would like to know. Or if anyone else has done this swap period, please feel free to chime in. Cheers!

@SYT_Shadow and a few others on here have done it.
Seems like a straightforward process. If you have a sunroof car you'll just need to order the support brace that comes standard on slicktop cars, and of course the headliner and a couple other misc. pieces of trim beyond what you'd need if your car was a slicktop from factory. Otherwise the process should be the exact same in terms of removing spot welds, the structural glue you'll need, etc. https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1792840 |
