Isn't the akra evo a mid-pipe + muffler? I'm thinking of just swapping mufflers, and my bet is that the MPE would still be quieter than my Bimmerworld/Magnaflow street exhaust. (muffler only as well) These measurements are from ~50 ft away
Yep. Friends with Evo pass. Gt4 akra does not though.

having Spencer run the exhaust gives me the opportunity to take professional photos and videos of the exhaust as well. Which will be much better than what I'm currently capable of.

The new prototype arrives Tuesday

The V3 Prototype. Which is pre-production at this time. The x pipe needs further development and will be released at a later date.

System looks great! I kind of liked it in the satin though. “Chrome” has always looked cheap to me.

If it's a big deal for you I can most likely make a set in that satin finish. It's just sandblasted. But then you can't see the gorgeous welds

Wished I lived out there. I'd love to help you out with photos/content. I have a really strong following and I can provide you with top quality product/lifestyle photos. Tons of E9X cars out here though.

I love the exhaust. Anxious for it to be available so I can blow a check on it

Let me chime in and help answer some questions I feel everyone wants to know.

This exhaust system is absolutely beautiful in person. The welds are amazing, the finish is amazing, the design is amazing.

I had Spencer's car for a few days and drove it around doing some services/repairs to his car.

From my personal experience, working on thousands of these cars already, having a supercharger barely changes the exhaust note. It's so minimal that I barely even notice the difference.

IPE was my favorite exhaust for the E9X M3, considering the fact that you're able to close the valves and have it dead quiet and open them up to make it scream. Nothing beats having a valvetronic exhaust system.

This exhaust is by far, the BEST sounding exhaust I have ever heard. I've done countless of modifications, repairs, and replacements on the E9X M3s. I've heard every exhaust setups available in the market. Even many custom made exhaust systems.

With the valves closed, it sounds almost like a completely stock system with test pipes. I promise you, with the car in your garage. You'll be able to start up your car at 4am in the morning and your wife won't wake up to it lol. IPE sounds like a Honda to me, with the valves closed. This thing sounds deep like a V8 should sound.

With the valves opened, this thing SCREAMS. It has a very deep tone to it. While being super loud outside, there was minimal drone in the cabin. With the windows up, AC on, music off, and no rear seats.

I'm happy to say, that this exhaust is by far the best exhaust in the market. I hope you guys are all ready to write some checks, because without a doubt.. this is exhaust is to die for!

I'm planning to start taking deposits/preorders next week. I'm still deciding how i'm going to do it. Because I can do a group buy on the forums easily, but then the people not on the forums want it as well. So i'm thinking of how to separate it or combine it.

Take a look at how Apex Race Parts does theirs, it's through some web site that does the organization and logistics too.

Just did a track day and played with valves open and closed. Closed is quieter than stock with test pipes. Will post video soon.

I was able to grab a left over v2 but sound should be the same.

Thanks to Bomiz. Ppl at the track are asking which system this is. Sounds great.

I'm ready for my commission. Thanks. Lol
