FS: Ohlins DFV R&T with GC tophats & rear knob extensions

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
For sale are my Ohlins DFV R&T coilovers with GroundControl street tophats & rear adjustment knob extenders.

EDIT: FOR THOSE PMING ME ABOUT MY REAR ADJUSTERS.. LINK IN POST#13

I originally purchased & installed from EAS about 3 months with intent of keeping the car as a primarily a street car with occasional track days (3-5 days a year). But as always, my car is slowly becoming more a track toy than a street car so I am selling these.

These have about ~2.5k miles & 2 track days. (calculated actual driving i have done since i had these installed on 9/21/18. as my m is a weekend car.)

This setup ran me ~$3600 installed @ EAS; asking price is $2100 OBO which i think is pretty fair? but me being me, i will accept reasonable offers.

Coilovers are located in Santa Fe Springs / Buena Park, CA .

I am willing to ship if you are willing to cover shipping costs & 3% pp fee . (will be shipping with insurance, & signature ups ground so will likely be around ~$100 added for shipping )

I like the remote adjusters for the rears, where does one get those? I have the same coilovers, highly recommend these to anyone that needs a daily setup and for some light track duty.

How did you find these on the streets of LA? What are you swapping up to?

Nice! Heads up, these may not be getting traction because they're retailing for $2225 new from Turner [1]. GLWS, Öhlins makes the best street-able coilover IMO. If I could sell my KW V3s I would be all over these!

the kit does not come with camber plate/top hats so if you wanted more camber adjustments, you would need to purchase GC top hats + labor if you're not doing the labor yourself. (possibly twice since some people dont know OE top hats dont have any camber adjustment..or barely if any.)

Dammit. I paid 2 stacks for my setup used without camber plates. I would have been all over this. My damn rear adjusters are under the trunk liner!!!

I saw those Sake Bomb adjusters and wondered if they would work. Thank you.

Great deal.

BTW I don't know the seller. Just recognizing a great deal.

i was kinda iffy if they would fit also. but i said hell with it & figured they would make all the adjustment knobs the same size & just bought em & they worked great.

thanks for the good words!
