how do you go easy on track tires? isn't that like an oxymoron or something?
Kind of her response. She is desperately trying to keep up with me in an unequal car, so she drives like a mad woman trying to do it.

RR is 40 tread wear. Don't want that. RC1 looks like an option, but I don't see them at discount tire direct, tire rack or performance tread. Where do you get them?

Direct on Maxxis' website.

I might be wrong...Toyo's R888 or RA1 might be the one that is the NT01s sister tire.

888 is sister tire, but is nowhere near as good as NT01. Thundermoose and I may get some Maxxis to get through the drought. That only helps on M3. GT3 sizes are sold out as well. 245/40-18 and 305/35-18.

Not sure I'd consider an NT01 as an awesome tire. I like them because they're cheap and last as long (for me) as an RS3.

Why not run scrubs? Especially on the M3.

Never really know the history of scrubs. If I do that I will just get new Hoosiers.

The 245/40s are back up for sale. I picked up another set for the front so now I have 2 full sets of 245 NT01s and 335 RA1s...after those are gone I'm SOL unless I run R6s or BFG R1s.

Yup. I just snatched up 4 more fronts, so I have 10 fronts and 6 rears.

The tire choices are very limited for the RS, especially if Nitto is out of the 305/35/18s which are barely wide enough. Then all there is are street tires or R6s and R1s.

They don't have a lot of sizes yet. I've heard good things about the R7s already. Can't wait to try them out when they get them in my sizes.
