A modded 335 may not be playing fair. My friends modded 335 pulls on modded M3s.....

Haha my point exactly, I think a tuned S4 can take an M3. I guess we'll see.

My money is on the S4 if its from a dead stop. No wheel spin and it just flies. The M3 will take back the advantage at higher speeds. Especially if the race starts going over 120 mph where the S4 starts to struggle in comparison to my M3.

Here's some nice ids of the APR tuned vs apr tuned S4 . One is S-Tronic (DCT name for Audi) and other is Stick.

Meet time is 600 pm at arundel mills medieval times. He just wants to test his beta tune. If he beats me great. If I beat him then great too.

The fast one is my s1000rr bike...

Here is a well respected German tuning firms MTM tuned S4 with 430 hp and DSG gearbox v stock m3 with 6mt...........a fairer comparison would have been DCT v DSG or 6mt v 6mt - either way this S4 does well but at the higher speeds can't live with the M3, DCT would have made a big difference to the M3 as well.

Yea I can definitely agree with the speed of the DCT compared to a 6MT. If that's the case though, it will definitely be easy to tell if he gains when the cars shift.

Just so you guys know, the car in those APR video's is mine. The black car... not the white one. The MTM car's do not compare to the APR car's. The MTM uses a piggy back and does not increase boost and can minimally effect fueling and ignition. The 430hp MTM quotes is not accurate according to what people are seeing in the real world with their MTM cantronic units.
The APR tune is a flash over the ECU.

Of course, we'll see what happens

First off, I would like to applaud Urban Legend for stepping up and helping the car enthusiasts community, well at least the BMW and AUDI community .

Secondly, with regard to the below MTM tuned S4 there was a very large thread on the audi forum which basically concluded that the MTM tune produced little gains over stock...Sorry for bringing it up Voltrons head . I attached the link if anyone has a few days to read it.

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...?highlight=mtm

Note post #100 of the above thread which shows max gains above 5000 rpm at 18whp 12WTQ vs...

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...me-dyno-graphs.........

The above APR tune @ 70 WHP and 53WTQ above 5000 rpm right where it needs it the most hence our excitement.

Urban Legend anyway we could persuade you to allow some video taping?

Cheers,

+1 to the 2 posts above me.

The MTM tune is bogus and disregard that.

The APR tune is a true tune.

The only good thing about that roll on race was that it was done on a long enough stretch where high speeds were attained. I don't know where you guys are planning on doing this but hopefully another long stretch of road.

Looking forward to seeing the results...

Thanks for the kinds words. Great guy to run against. Bottom line here is that he was too quick. First run we started at around 60 mph. I started in D5. Went WOT and he was gone. Second run i had it in S5 and started in 3rd at 60 mph again. By the time i shifted to 4th he was gone. He just rockets away from me at WOT. He is putting out 399sh on an AWD dyno. Will need more than a stock M3 to take this guy.
