08/09 E9x M3

I have finally decided to take a break from my money burning hobbies and so have some money to buy another nice road car.

Looking a a M3 but unsure on which one so got a couple of question.

1. Pre LCI vs LCI (E90)? What is the main difference?
2. Is the HDD IDrive much better than the DVD based version?
3. Sedan vs Coupe? Is the sedan generally cheaper?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hi Mate

I have just come out of a 2008 E90 M3. Mine was manual, no EDC etc.

Go LCI if you can as the early models do look dated now.
HDD is a must.
Saloons will always hold a better residual value as the market will soon if not already be flooded with 3 year old coupes.
DCT & EDC are a must when holding the resale value.

I think the must have options for me right now is:
EDC
Bluetooth
Adapative lights (not essential but prefered)
Any other options?

How much a premium does DCT go for? I would prefer a manual if possible tbh.

I keep looking on AT and prices seem to vary quite alot for the E90 LCI.

Garage List
trust me go for DCT as manual cars are sooooo outdated, and heated fr seat is a "must have " option .....also comfort access is nice to have .
