Spark plugs / differential oil - when to change?
Hi guys,
haven't been on this forum for quite some time. Not sure if anyone can help. I've had the diff oil and spark plugs done at around 15,000mile (around 2014/2015). Currently at 35k miles due for brake fluid, oil and MOT. I've followed all the recommendations from BMW and the car itself, but the car doesn't let you know when to change the diff/spark plugs. Is it due? Thanks guys. Also, a small plug for my channel, if you're interested.

oem interval states 37,000 miles. an overwhelming consensus is that interval is too long. i just changed mine at about 30k and a few track days (i had to daily drive it for a period last year) and the plugs were pretty beat up. i think around 20k would be ideal.
you are correct that the car will never ask for new plugs in the "condition based service" idrive module. i had to force feed this info to the dealer to get them to change my plugs under the oem maintenance plan.

It's probably due then. It hasn't been driven much, around 20k miles (2014/15) since last time it was done. But I'm planning on going on to my first track day. So maybe it is wise to get it done before hand?
