RB install ARP

so I am going to do this job DIY instruction i think 7 says Resize the rod's WTF lol is this a needed thing ?

The only useful information in the little paper that comes with the rod bearings is the torque value and where to apply the guck on the bolts

Where are you located in the DC area? I'm in North Laurel (HoCo). I am no mechanic but have a single owner 2009 e92 M3 which is now a track only car. Always nice to meet folks in the area.

I've done a few on the e46. In a car. But my buddy owns aktiv auto. And will be doing them for me as I don't have the time right now

ive never followed that but I think its relating to the clamping force being different than what is achieved through the OEM thus altering the total length of the piston rod assembly.
