[QUOTE=BPMSport;25963972]Here's a cool video review and Dyno posted by one of our customers a few days ago:

Hey Mike,
Wondering what you are doing to get the extra rear wheel bhp? I have a harrop s/c done by harrop in Melbourne but with just the standard exhaust and 490bhp at the rears on dyno jet. I would prefer not to decat for environmental reasons - possibly hypocritical... do you think your tunes are giving that much of an edge over theirs?

No prob. Figured I'd keep a spare on hand. Had a belt snap on me on my other SC'd car and left me stranded. No bueno. I like the Goodyear Gatorback/Continental Elite Poly-V belts.

Does anyone know if there's any evidence yet, empirical or anecdotal, regarding reliability impact of Harrop vs. centrifugal style superchargers on the S65? More specifically, I'm curious if one platform creates more stress on engine internals, bearings, etc. than the other.

Both have been used extensively and it's pretty clear they're a non issue with each style. SC it and enjoy it

I agree doesn’t seem to be that many problems around s/c makes a big difference for the better

Has anyone done a tune with a bigger pulley and lower compression. I am still waiting for vac motorsport parts. I got forged pistons with a compression 10.5, and new road bearing. Also got a harrop kit wich is waiting for an install since december.

Understood on the software. Would you sell the tune to anyone who purchased it directly from Harrop? Would rather have your tune as you've been evolving it over the years - and of course wouldn't expect hardware support from you...

Can underdrive pulleys be ran with this kit for a tiny of bit extra oomph?

Also, how is sustained performance on track?

You would need to find a belt that works with the blower and pulley since the pulley kits are generally supplied with belts for NA applications.

Definitely not. An underdrive pulley would reduce performance.

The kit has been track tested quite a bit but it's always important to keep watch temperatures. On certain tracks I can get the oil temp past 275 pretty easily on a hot day even in an NA M3. We do leave all of the rev limit reducing temperature safeguards in place.

On Harrop's website it says

"Calibration project development was undertaken in-house for more than 18 months using resources in Australia, Europe and the USA, BPM Sport was selected to assist with fine tuning, leveraging their extensive knowledge of the S65 ECU and its operating system."

So does that mean no matter where you purchase from in the USA that you will get the BPM tune? Kind of confused because BPM specifically said you have to purchase from them to get their tune.

BPM*

Purchases from Harrop will receive the codeveloped tune. BPM offers some additional changes/tweaks and tuning support directly from BPM.
