OK guys sorry for the delay, we had in a car that we installed both a tune and Etronic on the other day. Unfortunately client needed to go pretty soon after so we didn't get to setup the same, exact way BUT doesn't matter… because all you need are your headphones

I put together an example of our Etronic on the dyno, and outside, compared to stock.

At the end of the video you can hear the Overrun feature with it revving on the dyno

Enjoy!

Sal, Paul or Imran, this is off topic but since this is about adding a feature, would it be possible to somehow integrate a tune check, to know that the car is tuned for certain?
I dont assume there is a way to check when plugging in and scanning via the obd port a confirmation that the software currently on the car is the evolve tune.

Maybe lower further the cold start temp reduction from the factory level? This is done on alot of cars, and had this feature on all my turbo bmws, 335, 550i etc when i was tuned. This way, we get a little extra cold drive protection just in case we over rev, and we get to see for certain the car is flashed with the tune.. I think bpm has used this method on there tune aswell.

Features like 8600rpm limit or CEL delete or Cold start delete or this new Overrun backfire would let you know your tune took lol.

Most people i assume keep there stock rev limiter, are on stock primary's, and enjoy there cold start lol i know me and a few of friends fall in that category.

Usually happens after letting off pedal after a full throttle or heavy throttle run.

And it sounds sick, amazing what you guys did. Also the tune feels amazing, my car never ran so good before, it keeps pulling and pulling. Good job guys, can't believe I didn't do it earlier.

got my tune a couple of days ago and haven't really been able to test out the overrun feature but the tune so far feels great. I originally had there stage 2 tune without the overrun feature, this new updated tune feels even better. More responsive mid range. hope the weather gets better here in Chicago so I can test out the overrun/burple feature.

What do you mean you haven't been able to test the overrun feature? When you drive the car, it should burble whenever you let go of the throttle. Do you have to enable it or something?

The other day I pushed it pretty hard and when shifted into 2nd gear it backed fired pretty loud, sounded cool as hell.

Can't wait to place my evolve tune order since I decided to stay N/A, this feature should be fun.

Off topic: is a DCT tune include with Evolve tune or is it a separate purchase?

It only activates I believe under hard acceleration. since the weather and road conditions here aren't that great I haven't really been able to do that
