FS: 2013 E92 AW/Black DCT, ZCP, Gintani Stage 2 SC, Rod Bearings, CF Roof, Vorsteiner

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 39,900.00

Item Interest
Just made a deal for a GT3 so need to sell my E92 now! I just bought this car last July and looked everywhere to find this spec/mods/maintenance level. No expense has been spared and all of the major maintenance items have been done already.

Current mileage: 59,016. Purchased at 56.5k miles so I barely drove it

-2013 E92
-Alpine White/Black Interior
-Carbon Fiber Roof
-Competition Package (ZCP)
-Premium Package
-DCT
-Heated seats
-Satellite Radio
-BMW Apps
-Enhanced Premium Sound
MSRP = $75,045

Mods:
-Dinan catless x-pipe with 4 resonators ($2,695), rear section is OEM exhaust
-Vorsteiner Carbon Fiber hood painted AW, fins left exposed CF ($2,795)
-OEM BMW Performance steering wheel ($840)
-19" Niche Wheels ($950)

Service records are available including the following recent items:

The entire engine was replaced under warranty by BMW in October 2014 at 24k miles, so you get a 35k mile engine even though the car has 59k miles on it. Have full documentation from dealer.

-Supercharger oil change April 2018 ($120)
-Oil change April 2018 ($220)
-Rear brake pads and rotors replaced April 2018 ($986)
-Airbag recall done July 2018
-Splash shields replaced July 2018 ($525)
-PPI done in July 2018 prior to purchase, can provide copy

Previous owner paid $21,815 to Gintani in April 2017 for the following (I have the receipt):
-Stage 2 Supercharger System
-Rod bearing job
-Motor mounts replaced
-Valve cover gasket repair
-Engine oil pan
-Oil change
-New coolant

I did the following since purchase:

August 2018
-Replaced throttle actuators - $885.04 labor plus $1,130 for two OEM actuators from FCP Euro
-Brake fluid flush - $150
-Install performance wheel - $140.24
-Exhaust install - $310.35
-New shift knob with boot - $226.86

September 2018
-New supercharger belt and pulley - $384.33

November 2018
-Replaced cracked hoses in intake manifold - $417.11
-New brake booster line - $429.95

The only negative is that the front lip broke and when the previous owner removed it, it took off some of the paint due to the 3M tape, I was going to have the front bumper repainted and reflectors shaved, but held off because I wasn't sure if I wanted to do a lip or the OEM performance splitters. I do have a set of the OEM performance splitters that I purchased but have not installed yet. There is paint peeling in one spot where the scoops are, wouldn't be seen if using the OEM splitters. That's one of the reasons I couldn't decide which direction to go with it. The paint taken off by the tape can only be seen if looking from the underneath angle.

Located in Las Vegas, PPI welcomed at buyer's expense

**NOTE** This car is registered to a Montana LLC that I own. Have all documentation in case you have any questions. I own the title outright through the LLC and have it in hand, there is no lien.

I believe I saw this car when it was getting the Akrapovic installed at Southwest Bimmers. If so, this is a very nice ride.

Thanks! It’s a great car just had to jump at the chance to get my dream car for a steal.

$43,500 OBO. Just edited to reflect that, I know this site has issues with displaying prices on mobile.

Yep that was probably me. All of the work I’ve had done was at SW Bimmers. Thanks!

Damn Gintani charged the previous owner 8 hours labor to do motor mounts on top of the rod bearings? Seems a little gougey considering he purchased a sc kit from them too! Sweet ride ! Bump it up..

I'm guessing their shop rate is probably more than $100/hour so I'm not sure exactly what the breakdown was, but it was $800 labor....not sure what the going rate for that job is, but I know many people have said Gintani is on the pricey end of things. I searched the forum and seems most people were charged in the $500-800 range

Once the subframes dropped to do the rod bearings it's a 10 minute job, it's like they charged him to do the mm's when the rod bearings weren't being changed also.

Swapped Akra exhaust back to OEM, price lowered to $39,900 accordingly. Dinan x-pipe is still on the car. Car is getting a fresh oil change and supercharger oil change at my expense this week.

Agreed! I drove the car across town today for a fresh oil change and supercharger oil change and it’s such a blast to drive with the supercharger. Car is ready for a new owner. Money talks...

Engine just blew, so that sucks. Good thing previous owner paid $2800 for rod bearings.

Before I pay for a rebuild, anyone interested in the car with the blown engine? Someone might want to do it with a built motor, otherwise I am probably going to remove the supercharger, sell the SC separately, and put a stock engine back in.
