2011 M3 no sound

Car was purchased this way. No fault codes. Top hifi amp, tcu and cic. Bypassed the tcu and no change. Connect to amp through Ista and can turn on all speakers. Connect to Cic and can’t play and sounds/chimes.

Checked loops at the amp, tcu and under driver side dash. All have blinking red light. Removed CD player and loop has no light until I disconnect another loop and plug it back in, then it will flash a couple times and stop. Amp loop does something similar occasionally and it had a white light once. Is there another loop I’m missing? Where does the loop begin? Bad cic?

Previous owner installed incorrect cic. Bought a used one and still had no sound. Had it remote coded and everything works.
