macht schnell x pipe Rasp delete

Looking to remove the raspy tone of the macht schnell x pipe. Currently have it paired with ipe f1.

Thinking I might just need to sell it and grab something with hfc.

Or I can add 2 high flow cats.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Get the BW race pipe. Throw on two vibrant resonators and 2 HFCs.

Just buy a couple of 200 cell cats and have them welded in the secondary position. No sense starting all over for what Is arguably the same thing. Check out Vibrant Performance

Maybe - Depends where you live. Didn't see smog as a requirement in your post. Get an oem xpipe.

Depends on the state. Put the 200cels in and give it a whirl. If you fail, swap back to oem. If they OBD then you'll likely fail with the downstream O2s disabled.

The quad resonated x-pipes I've heard (Bimmerworld or Borla) sound amazing (no rasp).

Im wondering if the actual x portion of the stock x-pipe restrictive at all?

Are the stock resonators restrictive at all? Or are they straight through with perforated/resonated inner walls?
