If you go through insurance, the key is to say that the object that hit you was moving. You'd just pay your comprehensive and premium would not be affected. Probably just be cheaper to go through a body shop.
What mods do you have to pull on a 996 turbo? |

This thread may be old, but it still rather entertaining.
I presume that the 911 pwned the M3 as it was a Civic M3. ZCP would have made the difference.

I love how OP had to start the post with a validating statement that his buddy's car is modded and that he was about to pull ahead of him after trailing for the past 95 mph in acceleration.
Sorry, that sucks, but this is also hilarious. In terms of a real response, I think the hood is made of aluminum so it's harder to work on dents. Even if you have to pay out of pocket for a new hood plus paint/blending/install, you shouldn't have to pass the 1600 mark. Weigh your options. I don't really think your buddy owes you anything for this. He also has an undercarriage to fix. |

Thread Revival of the Month.
After the undercarriage fell off... was the OP able to finally "pull" back ahead? At least he had a slight advantage at that point. And... what exactly is the "undercarriage" anyhow? Did the swing arms, universal ball joints, springs, and all that crap bounce on the ground and then slam -- lightly -- into the hood of the M3? Maybe the 911 uses carbon-fibre swing arms... - V .
