Zaino on top of dealers sealer?
Hope I'm not touching on an already discussed topic, my search turned up nothing. That said.... I just purchased an '11 Jerez Black M3. The dealer talked me into letting them apply their 3M brand sealer. To be honest, they did a great job but I love washing, waxing and detailing. I also love Zaino and have for years. My concern is, I paid several hundred for the sealer from the dealer (sounds like a rap song) and not sure if I can apply Zaino on top of that or do I need to remove their sealer before applying Zaino? Actually, I'd just wait for it to look like it needs re-doing, then remove and apply Zaino if it does in fact need to be removed first. Any help is appreciated, happy motoring.
A BMW convert, I love this car!

You can apply over it but you may find that the Zaino doesn't have its normal durability. If it were me, I would remove the dealer applied "sealant" and start fresh.

That's what I was afraid of, gee the few hundred bucks wasted on the sealer could have been a good start towards a cold air intake. Thanks for the reply!

According to Zaino directions you must strip all wax off car with Dawn dishwasher soap. So I would think the Zaino is not going to "bond" to your car without doing that. Zaino is the bomb! Up to 25 coats on my car now

Zaino should bond to a sealant fine. No harm in trying it before stripping away your expensive sealant.
And don't waste your money on an intake for this car. Minimal (if any) power gained.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Thanks for the heads up on the intake, not into wasting money. I read one claim that it added 10-15hp, thought that was high, OEM looks pretty free flowing.
