Detailer's Domain: Nissan GTR

Sorry its been awhile since I have posted up a write up (at least for me) its been a bit hectic at the warehouse.

Believe it or not another new car fix. Its really unfortunately. Diagnosis.... an abundance of holograms, swirls, cut marks, wash marks.
Solution below:

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
- Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Paint inspected and measured
- Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed
- Tires dressed
- Masking
- 2 Step Paint correction (Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue)
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Last Step - Menzerna Power Lock
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned
- Engine Cleaned up and dressed

Inspection/Paint Correction (Before and After Shots)

The Driver's Door was an example of how bad the car was for a new car.

Tires Dressed/Wheels Waxed/Calipers Waxed

Metal Tips Polished

Awesome job. Its amazing how many swirls and other defects a dealer can put into a new cars finish.

It always amazes me that a new car can come from the dealer with the finish already f***d up. It seems however, that this is the norm.
