Looking for Re-Manufacturer of S65
I have a 2011 M3 and I am based in Dallas TX. I, unfortunately, hit a large concrete block while in the middle lane and got a big hole in the oil pan. My engine got locked up/Seized. I am looking for a reliable engine remanufacturer.
Any recommendation and suggestion appreciated for finding one. BR Neal |

Sorry to hear, I would also suggest posting in the Southwest regional sub-forum, may get more input from locals:

If your engine seized there is high chance of crank damage. Probably better/cheaper/faster to get a used engine and replace it.

Hi Neal,
Sorry to hear of your misfortune. As others have mentioned, our shop is local to you and can walk you through this process. The S65 engine is our specialty. Fair warning- if your engine locked up after losing its oil then it will most likely not be repairable. These are not iron blocks and not tolerant of any type of catastrophic damage like that. You'll likely be needing a replacement engine- which we can help with as well. |
